Neelam joined Hanna IP in March 2022 as a trainee patent attorney, with a background in Electronics and Communication Engineering. While at Hanna IP she has gained experience in drafting and prosecution of patent applications across various technological areas. Neelam is currently a student member of CIPA and recently achieved passes in FC1 and FC4.

Prior to joining Hanna IP, Neelam has 4 years of experience as a patent associate in leading patent law firms in India. She stepped into the arena of intellectual property rights by being chosen for the Woman-Scientist Program-C Scheme at TIFAC and the Department of Science and Technology, India, which enrolls 120 individuals in PAN India through a difficult screening procedure. After successfully completing the program, she worked as a Patent Intern at a patent law company for 11 months of hands-on training with a scholarship and was awarded an IPR diploma.
